Adventures in parenting has begun. Olivia and I have begun the hard part. The kids came home this past Friday, which was exactly 35 weeks for both of them. We were ecstatic, but also terrified at the prospect of having them both at home. This is completely normal for parents. There's a lot of insecurity that exists when you just have a baby. I've heard this from my friends who have had children.
The kids need to be fed every three hours. Like clockwork. We usually do them within a half hour of one another, but the routine kind of looks like this...
Every Three Hours:
1. Change them.
2. Feed Them.
3. Cuddle Them.
4. Put them back to bed.
This whole process usually takes roughly an hour.
Our parents have been bringing us meals, and I've discovered that there is some truly retarded television on late at night.
Parentirific!
